This topic comes up so regularly that I will shortly be organising a free session for iTandCoffee Club members, where we will 'workshop' setting up and using a password safe. I think we need a free session on this one

However, in my rush during the week, I had twice forgotten to perform the 'Save As' and had saved the new document 'over the top of' the old document. I was working on a set of similar documents, so each time I created a new document, I was opening an existing document, and performing a 'Save As' to create a new version. Twice this week, Dropbox has saved me so much time and aggravation. Once again this week, I have been raving about how much I love Dropbox. Once again, the rule is to be suspicious of EVERY email that tries to get you to click on their link/s and enter password or private information, or want you to click on an attachment in the email. It is yet another scam from someone pretending to be Bunnings (similar to one we reported last year) - a phishing email aimed at getting you to give away private information, perhaps even financial information, and passwords.īunnings confirms on its website that any such emails are completely fraudulent and should be deleted immediately. This is why I took a bit more notice of it. (I do receive quite a few dodgy emails every day.)īut this one came to my more private home email address - one that doesn't normally get scam or spam emails.
Usually, I only receive emails like this at my 'business' email addresses, which anyone can find via the iTandCoffee website. It had all the 'official' looking branding that you'd expect to see from Bunnings, so looked very authentic. Yesterday, I received an email (shown here) - telling me that I might be the lucky recipient of a $2000 Bunnings gift card!
